The Talk this month is on “Ancient Cheshire Villages”. The speaker, Tony Bostock hails from a Cheshire family that can trace its roots in the Northwich district back for several hundred years. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Cheshire Local History Association and has chaired the Winsford & District History Society. Now retired, he spends much of his time researching local history, heraldry and genealogy and regularly gives illustrated talks to organisations throughout Cheshire.

The competition is “an Old Village Photograph”.
